Week Seventeen: December 21st-27th

Christmas Week!  Such a fun and busy week.  We so thoroughly enjoyed getting to spend time with our Thompson cousins from Germany!

The week started with a special treat for the girl's, getting to see the Nutcracker Ballet!  Bekah has been waiting for years to see this and she finally got to!  We had a special dinner at Panera afterwards.

We had a special Tuesday breakfast with our cousins and grandparents.  Later that evening we took them to look at the lights in Brea.  It is so very special for Jeremiah to have a cousin so close to his age!

On Christmas Eve we had our traditional family dinner at In-N-Out followed by our Christmas Eve service.  The evening finished with a late night wrapping session for Micah and Daddy.

Christmas!  We started the day with stockings and gifts at home, with of course our traditional breakfast.  Later in the day we headed to Aunt Bess and Uncle Robert's house for our Christmas dinner celebration.

The day after Christmas I took Bekah to the American Girl store.  She had a gift card and was able to buy some special things for her new doll Isabelle.

We celebrated our anniversary on the 27th with a football picnic lunch and a pasta dinner with the whole extended family.  Since we share an anniversary with my grandparents we and Uncle Jeff's family was in town we all wanted to spend as much time together as possible.  Everyone had a great time.

Week Sixteen: December 14th-20th

What a week!  It started off in an incredible way...baby Samuel was born!

The kids had their Christmas recital.  This was Bekah's first.  She played "Up on the Housetop" and Jeremiah played,"Oh Come Emmanuel."  They also played a duet from the Nutcracker.

Micah handcrafted a gift for Daddy out of cardboard for Christmas.

We headed to Knott's Berry Farm to pick out Christmas ornaments.  The older three were able to watch A Christmas Carole, but I had to wait in the lobby with Joey.  They ALL enjoyed the funnel cake.

Christmas lights!  We had so much fun seeing Christmas lights with the Gereau's.  The kids all were able to get yummy hot chocolate while the adult's enjoyed Starbucks.

Santa Cow breakfast at Chik-fil-a!  Our annual tradition always enjoyed by the kids.  The Gallego's joined us this year.  Jeremiah enjoyed holding sweet baby Samuel.
